But that desert is inhabited by Coyotes (the human kind), illegals, and dope smugglers- not to mention Immigration, DEA, and Customs agents. You might get your ass shot-off out there looking- hardly worth a 20 mile hike.

May 6, 2005 · I have found an online site that sells cuttings (2 - 3cm) which apparently contain or consist of one peyote button each (I understand that it is the button rather than any other part of the cactus that needs to be consumed for the trip to occur). I would very much like to know how many buttons should be consumed for a first time trip.

Jul 17, 2007 · Peyote is not mescaline, but mescaline is the predominant psychoactive alkaloid in the peyote cactus. SWIM also seriously doubts the authenticy of a 3 day trip, although he guesses it would be possible with a dose large enough.
