Big thanks to Dan Savoie from Pentax Canada who provided the pre-production Q10, the Pentax K-Q adapter, the 35mm Macro Ltd., the tripod, and the focusing hand! Mar 30, 2013 · First the Q10 will shoot much longer on jpeg before filling up the buffer. Q does 5-6 shots and then slows to a crawl. Q10 will do over 25 without slowing down. Unfortunately I shoot Raw and there is very little difference there. Second,the Q10 liveview has much less trouble moving from areas of different brightness.

Jan 22, 2019 · The Q and Q10 are very similar in functionality and share the same sensor, though I understand there were claims of very slightly improved image quality in the Q10. I can't confirm or deny this as I've never tried one. The original Q has nicer build quality, being the only one in the series with a magnesium alloy frame.
