Pentax K-7 is Pentax's Advanced DSLR camera first launched on October of 2009. It comes with a 15 MegaPixel, CMOS APS-C sized sensor and has a full resolution of 4672 x 3104. Pentax brought out the newer Pentax K-5 (Read Full Comparison) in an effort to replace this camera.

Dec 18, 2014 · As soon as I connect the camera Windows 7 pops up a message that "PK Tether has stopped working. I see where others have successfully used it with the K-30 even though neither it nor the K-50 are listed as supported. Looking at the website I see little or no activity since Dec 2012, 2 years. Aug 29, 2018 · Just for the record, some models do not require PK-Teather. You either leave the card door open or push a button while turning power on to enter Debug mode (with the correct MODSET). See Pentax Hack: MODSET (see post 11 and my later post re. the K-x and K7). This enters Debug Mode once, you do not have to turn Debug mode on or off.
