Feb 25, 2008 · Next was the Bay Hen (formerly the "Lightfoot"), then the Mud Hen, the Peep Hen, the Summer Hen, the Sand Hen (formerly the "Bahama Sandpiper"), the Sand Hen, the Queen Hen, etc. Some of these saw only one unit built. Others a couple. But most were Marsh Hens, Mud Hens, Bay Hens and of course the Peep. "Of all my hens, I like the Peep best!

If you have a really small tow vehicle...say something like a Geo Metro, Suzuki Swift, or similar, then you'll need to be leaning toward the light weight type of boat.

Peep Hen was sort of an inspiration actually, except that it has a round bilged fibreglass hull. I really like the idea of the unstayed rig that is simply swung upwards and locked in place - like the Peep Hen and also the NIS range of boats. But these boats do not have swivelling masts as well to roller furl the sail.
