I love this recipe, which was my first attempt at making my own pasta. Spelt has so much more to offer nutritionally than whole wheat, and this is not only easy to work with, but great tasting. I can now make my own ravioli!

SPELT PASTA SAUCE INGREDIENTS. In general all whole wheat grains requires a hearty and chunky sauce. I used 2 types of vegetables that pairs well with this spelt pasta: Tuscan or Lacinato kale, whose leaves cook very quickly, and some mushrooms, which are rich in vitamin D.
