Ichang papeda tasting / flavor
Oct 7, 2020 · One possibility is there could be several different cultivars of Ichang papeda floating around, with slightly different shaped fruits. Mar 5, 2017 · I grafted my Ichang papeda on flying dragon so it isn't very big. It has pretty leaves similar to kaffir lime. my theory about the origins of Ichang papeda, Yuzu, and Ichang …
Aug 20, 2019 · Genetic studies show that Ichang papeda seems to contain a fair amount of C. reticula in its DNA (or DNA markers that correspond to the species mandarin). That wouldn't be the case if Ichang papeda was its own original species, like many sources seem to assume, and makes it more likely Ichang papeda was descended from Yuzu, rather than vice versa.
Kaffir lime might itself be a variety of papeda, not a hybrid of …
Sep 21, 2019 · Thanks lebmung. According to your experience on ichang papeda, it must be a useless variety then. I think on some of the smaller sized plants, the leaves might not be quite as symmetrically sized as on more mature trees. You will notice that a few of the leaves in those pictures do seem to have more of the fuller symmetry of stereotypical Ichang papeda.
