I don't know the DOB on my model 1 but, given the differences in the two examples, it seems unlikely another owner can diagnose yours.

Feb 20, 2010 · The Pact PC2 is the one presently being used. More reliable than the Chrony, has larger viewing area and pretty rugged in construction. Fairly easy to set up and use.
