May 11, 2020 · I used to go over to Warren for the Museum's annual Packard weekend, as a spectator, but (for a variety of reasons) I began losing interest in that event. I stopped going after the y did away with the all-Packard car show, on Saturday, and merged it with the ir all-makes car show, held on Sunday.

Jul 30, 2011 · The Packard museum in Dayton is an old Packard dealership building and privately owned. They have a nice collection and it is worth the stop. The museum in Warren tells the history of Packard better but has less cars on display. If I had to choose, I'd go to Dayton. The art deco building is worth your time alone...

Nov 12, 2024 · If you don't want it, and it is an original Packard item, why not donate it to America's Packard Museum in Dayton, Ohio. Since they are a non-profit museum, you can even get a tax credit for this item rather than merely tossing it in the trash.

Located in an original Packard dealership building constructed in 1917, the museum has officially taken the name of the original dealership - The Citizens Motorcar Company - but has become known as "America's Packard Museum".

Sep 15, 2024 · Packard was quite proud of this invention and began offering it to body shops and dealers. Packard suggested that Packard New Metal be used in repairs where possible instead of lead. It was the predecessor to Bondo. Today, there is a factory kit of Packard New Metal in a showcase (in the original boxes) at America's Packard Museum in Dayton, Ohio.
