Dec 25, 2011 · Finally got my 9.5" MK109 PWS 300 blk upper It is super light and the rails are very smooth, this upper is the nicest I have owned I have it installed on a new SBR'd lower which has a standard carbine buffer. I also used a YHM Phantom .308 can.

Aug 26, 2012 · My MK109 cycles subs and supers suppressed no problem. It also cycles supers unsuppressed just fine, but obviously doesn't have enough pressure to cycle subs without a can. LWRC and PWS have very different piston setups. The PWS is a simple one piece op rod with a free floating piston head attached to the bolt carrier.

Jul 25, 2015 · I already have a Barrett Rec7 Gen II 6.8 to reach out to the 150 - 500 yd distances. I'll be adding a Barrett 98B Tactical 300 WinMag next in October in order to reach out and "touch someone" at ultra-long ranges beyond 500. The PWS will rarely see supersonic rounds, either. $$ are not the issue.

Mar 25, 2012 · I have the PWS MK109 300blackout on a PWS pistol receiver and I took it to the range this Friday. I had the same problem with the exactly the same ammo, Remington 300 BLKOUT 7.62x35mm 115 gr Close Tip Flat Base. I tried 3 different mags, Pmag, Victory and GI, and it had the same problem.

Aug 17, 2012 · This is my PWS MK114 upper with the bolt and carrier fully in battery. The locking lugs are visible against their respective barrel extension lugs. My MK109 upper is the same way. I wonder if there's something off with the PWS bolt carrier cam slot that is keeping the bolts from fully rotating into battery.

Oct 24, 2012 · I love my PWS piston guns. My 308 was flawless from the get go, and my 300blk runs flawlessly now after having the port opened up a tiny bit. Their service is great. Very polite guys, and they will make sure you are taken care of if there is a problem with yours. They make a 16in and a 9in 300blk upper.

Jul 8, 2012 · Picked up a PWS MK109. While awaiting a SDN6 suppressor, I want to use my Osprey 9 can, shooting subsonic of course. Unfortunately, the top rail sticks out too far to allow me to screw the can on to the barrel. Obvious question, how do I remove the top rail?
