Jun 23, 2022 · Quick update: solved my PVS-15 eyepiece cross-thread issue. I delicately heated the eyepiece area of the housing with a heat-gun, and used a precision screwdriver to lift up around the edges of the housing, all the way around the seized eyepiece.

I'm still contemplating a pvs-15 or BNVG but for the sake of spending less money AND having the ability to weapon mount as well as helmet mount I'm looking at monoculars as well. Also the PVS-18 looks, at least physically very similar to one half of a PVS-15. Coincidence, or is is a mono version of a bino?
