Feb 16, 2019 · PVS-15s and PVS-31s can be had in several grades of tubes, you’ll find more available variety in PVS-15s, PVS-31s, it’s a much smaller list of likely candidates, but just be aware, not every “WP PVS-31A” (e.g.,) is identical, they’re built to different performance levels based on the customer/customer requested specs.

Oct 31, 2022 · The L3Harris BNVD PVS-31A being fragile is overblown IMHO. Since I've been at TNVC I've only seen one customer who damaged his and that was when he dropped it on a concrete floor from helmet height. I won't say 1 out of how many but the sample size is quite large . It was a bad drop how it landed that likely would have damaged any goggle.

Jan 22, 2021 · Heres a broken 11769 from a DRMO’ed PVS-31A. Instead of a pigtail like a normal 11769, it uses a flex circuit that conforms to the side of the tube. Similar to the 11769/ENVG tubes used in the AN/PSQ-20.

Mar 1, 2024 · That’s the recommended and most common mount used with the L3Harris BNVD (PVS-31A) and it also works great with the Elbit F5032 (PVS-31D). The Norotos LoSto (USMC variant as listed on our site) is also great with the F5032 / 31D and is the mount used with that system by the USMC (hence why we use “USMC variant” in the description).

Apr 9, 2021 · I am given to understand, per the manual, that my PVS-31A should go to sleep when I flip it up (mounted with a G24). Pressing the power knob 5 times does make the indicator light blink, but no matter how many times I attempt to activate the auto-sleep mode, the unit remains on when I flip it up. What am I missing here?

The AN/PVS-31A BNVD has independently pivoting tube housings that allow the operator to run the goggle in a binocular or monocular configuration. Using two tubes at once allows the eyes to create depth perception and increases the ease in maneuvering terrain and obstacles as well as operating devices such as control panels and door knobs.

PVS-31A full kit, approx 10 hours of use. That being said, I have two sets of NODs and one has to go. DOM 10/17 No spec sheet on this unit but as you can see the tubes are outstanding.
