Oct 17, 2024 · Unironically the PS5 needs a stand when it's positioned horizontally more than it does vertically. That fucker wobbles like a bitch when plugging anything into the USB because of its ridiculous shape.

Fun fact I only found out after 2 years there is a screw in the stand and a hole for the screw on the PS5 and you're supposed to screw it on for it to hold lol.

Oct 17, 2024 · PS5 / PS5 Pro can be placed horizontally or vertically without a stand perfectly fine. You see certain people criticize taking out a redundant stand because they need something to complain about.

Nov 12, 2020 · I’m wondering the same. With the stand the console is just a bit too tall to fit properly in my media center. It’s pretty damn stable vertically without the stand. Does anyone know if not using the stand vertically impedes air flow/cooling?

Maybe it doesn't make a difference, but if it does should a PS5 (or a 3 or 4) stand vertical or horizontal? And how does it make a difference then?

I didn’t realize that the PS5 slim came with horizontal stands to support the PS5 until I started watching some youtube videos where they unboxed it with the plastic feet. Did anyone else have this issue too?
