Jan 4, 2021 · I want a travel case for my PS5, it doesn’t have to be like a suitcase ready for air travel or anything. I just move around a lot with it. I want protection, but it doesn’t have to be top notch. Just don’t want to bend those weak looking corners by putting it in any bag, and I want it to handle small bumps.

That does not mean that 100% of all PS5 have zero heating issues, if that happens to be the case here. Some may have a certain manufacturing / quality issue that's causing them to generate more heat than is acceptable, causing discolouration.

It uses a soft open cell foam with a thicker closed cell top layer to give it stability, but I still have concerns about compartments colliding with a big impact to the case. There is no room for headset storage.

May 30, 2024 · You'd have to look for one with the dimensions of the ps5 slim 14x8.5x4. The link I attached earlier goes to a custom case wear the foam inside can be cut to shape, and the dimensions are pretty close to the slim. There might be extra space in it to make a slot for a controller and cables.

Dec 30, 2023 · PS2 cases used enough plastic to make a couple PS5 cases. Mass producing products will eventually come to a point of reduction in certain things to maximize product on the back end. It’s the same thing with guides in the cases; they have shrunk or been taken out to reduce usage of paper.

Jan 23, 2021 · All cords fit perfectly into either the top or bottom gaps, and I use the additional pouches at the top of the case for my controllers. I can also fit the controllers on top of the cables at the gaps (Or on top of the PS5 with a microfiber towel) and haven't had issues there either. The stand then just sits somewhere on top as well.

Casematix makes a hard shell ps5 case with pre cut foam that holds everything, but it’s 150 at that point you might as well spend the extra money to get a pelican case. Sadly it seems like when it comes to buying a ps5 case you have to either sacrifice price, quality or space.
