Nov 26, 2023 · The PS2 adds YPbPr output but it shares the same physical pins as the RGB output which is why there needs to be a software option to choose which format to output. This setting only affects RGB or YPbPr cables. Both have different colour spaces and RGB has the sync separate to the colour information and YPbPr puts the sync on top of the Y signal.
