CDGENPS2 3.0 support the creation od images CDX (one track an full capacity) and UMCDR (two tracks and unofficial support) with checksum and work perfect in my test. The .ISO format in old versions, before created corrupt images. Now it works perfectly.

But if using Free MC Boot you have to convert from a CD based game into a DVD compliant format to take advantage of Free MC Boot due to the way it works.

PlayStation 2 game discs are unencrypted DVDs and CDs. This means they can be dumped quickly using disc ripping software and a standard optical drive that supports DVD and CD optical media. Dumping discs does not harm optical media directly.

Most things should work out-of-the-box on Windows. You will need: Insert your PS2 disc into your optical drive. Name your file and click Save. Disk Utility will create a .cdr file, which is essentially an ISO file. Before we move on, we will need to convert that newly created cdr file into ISO.

Mar 3, 2012 · I found the PS2 to be fair at best. I am however a big PS1 supporter. If you can find the 1st release PS1, they make an excellent CDP. Smooth, nuanced and organic. I prefer it over most higher priced options (unless you going >= $1000)
