Aug 24, 2019 · There was no “P54” class on the PRR. Conversion of mP54 cars to electric MU service was denoted by the changing the prefix “m” to "M”, AND the addition of the suffix “E”. If you have primary sources that indicate otherwise, I would be very interested in seeing those.

Oct 16, 2018 · Back in the mid 1990's 3rd rail constructed and imported brass PRR p54 cars. There was a baggage, combo and coach cars. Unlike the numerous PRR P70 coaches that are 80'long or 20" O scale, the P54 cars are a mere 64' long or approximately 16" long O scale.

I pre-ordered both of the PRR mP54 Pre-war coach sets. They arrived this past Friday and I have to admit that I was very impressed. These cars did not get the full striping that the prototype cars would have originally been decorated with, which I honestly didn't expect anyway.
