EMD GP7, Class ES15 / ES15ms The EMD GP7 is a four-axle (B-B) road switcher diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division and General Motors Diesel between October 1949 and May 1954.

PRR engine #2274, an EF-25 built by EMD in 1964 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. It and one N-5 caboose are rockin' 'n' rollin' 'round the Curve on their merry way to Gallitzin and points West!

Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #8798 and #8507. Both are ES-15M road switchers built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #8798 was built in January of 1952, while #8507 is was built in August of 1952.

An ES15 (in Pennsy classification) moves the consist. Most of the world knew this locomotive model by it's manufacturer's designation: GP7 It would become the ubiquitous and most widely used diesel locomotive model by the RR industry.
