Mar 1, 2017 · I have a PPI 2150AM that was an ebay amp. Since first checking out the amp and powering it up with a small 5 amp power supply it would play fine/sound great and idle at about 1amp.

This 2150AM has clearly seen better days, but still performs just as it should. The speaker harness is included. Not much more to say really other than it does 150W x 2 into 4 ohm loads, and is from what many would consider the "golden age" of both car audio and Precision Power.

Nov 17, 2020 · The PPI 2150 appears to have 3 Temperature Sensors (TS1, TS2, TS3) and yellow protection LED. This is probably an earlier design of thermal detection using 3 thermistors, but I'm not sure how the test circuit works to protect the amp.
