PNS/M Saad (S-138) is a diesel-electric fast-attack submarine equipped with an air–independent propulsion system and the second of the Agosta-90B/Khalid-class submarines jointly designed and constructed by France and Pakistan.

Jun 23, 2019 · After 21 days of an extensive search, Indian Navy finally located the PNS Saad on the western side of Pakistan. It was sent there for hiding in order to ensure a covert capability in case of extension in hostilities in the aftermath of the Balakot airstrikes.

PNS Saad (S139) is an Air-independent and long range Khalid-class submarine of the Pakistan Navy. The Khalid class is an indigenously built submarine built by Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works and Pakistan Naval Engineering Branch, with full assistance provided by French naval engineers.
