Sep 8, 2022 · When it comes to printing silver you will need to either deal with the scumming you describe or be willing to run it a little lighter than the PMS book. The other option would be to run 2 hits of metallic if you have an open printing unit. When it comes to printing all the other 800 metallic inks you could try to take a step up in the PMS book.

Sep 18, 2024 · very rare I run pms colours, so wondering if anyone has a newer pms book. Ours does not have this colour in it. Does anyone know the formula for pms 19-4052 blue? I have searched everywhere and aside from buying a new pms book, for the very rare mixed colour, if anyone could help. TY in advance.

Apr 22, 2007 · exact match pms spot color is a good time to whip out the densitometer too. i once worked for a guy whos answer to saving money was to use minimum sheet size. we rarely had the luxury of color bars. being forced to rely on my eyes and my brain was perhaps the best learning experience for me when it came to running 4/c process!!!

Sep 25, 2007 · I just started operating a 02' komori 28 lithrone. The chrome roll is picking up ink when running pms reds but not magenta.After wash up they apply an etch solution to the roll. The shop uses Four Star fountain solution 2.5 oz. and hydro plus alcohol sub 12oz. and 2 oz of Allied dryer per 5 gals of water. Any advice would be helpfull. Thanks
