The PIK-20 is a Standard Class sailplane designed at the Helsinki University of Technology by Pekka Tammi, with advice from Ilkka Rantasalo and Raimo Nurminen. The prototype first flew in October 1973.

The Pik 20 (or to give it it's full name the "Polyteknikkojen Ilmailukerho 20" - yes really!) is an aquired taste. Looking like a Guppy and being more senstive to bugs than a Venus fly trap, the PIK 20 offers low cost 15m flapped performance (until it rains).

Unlike today's practice of laying glass over gelcoat in a mold, the PIK 20 was built without gelcoat. The finish is the result of smooth glass layup, a small amount of filler, and an acrylic enamel paint. There were 160 copies of the combined 20 and 20B models produced, and 178 of the 20D.
