PGR is honored to assist MIAP to inter service men and woman. We will be standing a flag line and assisting MIAP in an honored transfer of our Heroes, provide an escort to the cemetery, and the join services and ceremony following.

CWO3 “Ski”, as just about everyone called him, served this country honorably during the Vietnam war, serving 3 tours there in ‘67, ‘68 and again in ‘71. Although he was wounded during a deployment, he refused to receive a Purple Heart, stating men died and he would be dishonoring those men. He felt that way till the day he passed.

Our hearts were overwhelmed, these men and women gave of their time unselfishly to honor John. We are personally honored that Emerson Miles a long time friend of John’s as well as his family was able to attend.

Upon completion of the service the PGR will stand an Honor Line as PFC Jones is placed in the coach, then mount up for the escort to Fort Sill National Cemetery. Flags at Fort Sill National Cemetery will be posted before our arrival by another PGR member.
