The PC-12 is a King Air class and size turboprop aimed at corporate transport and regional airliner operators. It is the latest in a line of single engined PT6 powered Pilatus products. Pilatus announced it was developing the PC-12 at the National Business Aircraft Association's annual convention in October 1989.

Jul 13, 2006 · The PC-12 on the other hand - although working well from short and bad runways and having a flexible cabin as well - is a much more luxurious and faster plane. It's pressurized cabin takes the passengers well above the weather and will let them make the destination rather quick, even if it's far, as it's speed of 260 - 280 Kts isn't to bad either.

Nov 7, 2020 · Since when is a PC-12 capable of flying safely over 2000NM from California to Hawaii? That sounds beyond the aircrafts safe flying range. Has Pilatus expanded capability recently? I’m not up to date but that distance seems unrealistic. It was a ferry flight, a delivery flight. Special temporary fuel tanks, not an ordinary flight in any way.

May 9, 2022 · In 2019, in South Dakota, an overweight PC-12 crashed killing 9 in blizzard (on apron) like conditions. Does the aircraft offer wing de-icing system as it seems to be the primary cause of the accident when the pilot chose to take off.
