The defaults for the 5900X are 142W, 95A, and 140A, respectively. If you reduce those values after turning on PBO, you will reduce your performance.

Feb 6, 2020 · Hello, i got a Ryzen 5 3600 and i'm wonder if turning on PBO is worth it. My Cinebench Score goes up to around 3630 when enabling it which is around 100 more than without, but also the temps go up from 70 to 80 degrees.
