May 26, 2012 · Here is the real kicker, the same 500Mhz CPU runs fine in an Asus P5A-B v1.04 board that I have here! (same board, but AT form factor and older revision) I strongly suspect the 1.06 revision of the P5A has more problems then realized outside of the reported issues with K6-2+ and K6-III parts.
