Aug 8, 2023 · I kept hearing people say that the owlbear ate Scratch :( so I was worried it was the only outcome. But apparently not! I made sure to talk to both and pet both each day, then I got a long rest cutscene where my character hears animal noises. I PANICKED so hard! I thought Scratch was done for. But I hurried over and they were sleeping.

Whew, still works in Tactician at least. I aimed for a spot just past Grym that didn't have any percentage hit numbers but whose landing zone was within the radius of damage. To me, this means that Owlbear "clips" Grym and falls onto him. Non-enlarged dealt 100 bludgeoning, reloaded the save and drank an elixir of colossus and did 718 bludgeoning.

May 2, 2021 · Here I have described three new variants of the owlbear: the owlbear cub, the primal owlbear, and the war owlbear! The cub is my take on a Find Familiar option, with a much weaker statblock than it's larger self but with the same general design. The primal owlbear is my attempt at going the other way and instead supersizing the owlbear.

Aug 29, 2023 · So I actually forgot about the owlbear until I was level 5 and well into the underdark. I had completely wiped out the goblins so I'm going to refuse to hurt kill the mother and I'll report back to see if the owlbear cub ever turns up.
