In the present study, the knowledge of the necrophagous genus Ophyra in Argentina is revised and first country records for Ophyra albuquerquei Lopes, Ophyra capensis (Wiedemann), Ophyra chalcogaster (Wiedemann) and Ophyra solitaria Albuquerque are presented.
