In the books the symbol of the OPA is a split circle, I always assumed this was a symbolic representation of Saturn, or another ringed outer planet. But in the tv-show the symbol is OPA with the A being the anarchy symbol.

Mar 27, 2020 · I haven’t read the books but based on the show I got the impression that the anarchist OPA symbol is used by the more aggressive and, well, anarchist faction of the OPA seen on Ceres and more generally the faction led by Anderson Dawes. The other is used by the more diplomatic faction represented by Fred Johnson and tycos/Merina station.

Sep 23, 2020 · The third one is the show's underground version. It just looks like an anarchy symbol, so unless someone has the show fresh in their mind, they'll just see that, and not the OPA logo. The second one is the show one used by OPA main characters. I'd probably go for that one. It's distinctly and unambiguosly OPA.

I believe the first symbol is for the "military arm" of the OPA, or OPA Navy. I think the anarchy one is used for OPA factions in the show, but neither are what Dan and Ty have said are for the books. I believe you are correct that the null symbol is basically what it should be. The tabletop RPG says that this is the symbol.

The OPA symbol (like this one) is a clear-cut example of something people would display to demonstrate their allegiance. What about a general symbol any Belter might display? Or an Earther or a Martian, for that matter?

Sep 20, 2023 · It’s marked primarily with the OPA symbol used by the faction created by Camina Drummer in season 5 after they split from the Free Navy. But there’s a general OPA symbol on the back. It’s also marked with the Tycho Station emblem because it had some repairs done there. I bet I can do better but damn the emblem editor isn’t NOT user ...
