Mar 27, 2020 · I haven’t read the books but based on the show I got the impression that the anarchist OPA symbol is used by the more aggressive and, well, anarchist faction of the OPA seen on Ceres and more generally the faction led by Anderson Dawes. The other is used by the more diplomatic faction represented by Fred Johnson and tycos/Merina station.

In the books the symbol of the OPA is a split circle, I always assumed this was a symbolic representation of Saturn, or another ringed outer planet. But in the tv-show the symbol is OPA with the A being the anarchy symbol.

Sep 23, 2020 · The second and third ones you post are from the TV show. The second one is the OPA in season 3, after they form a government. The third one is the OPA in seasons 1 & 2, when they're more informal, with lots of graffiti & protest happening. I don't recognize the first logo as anything really official, although that's a pretty good rendering of what's described in the books as "the split circle ...

Jul 7, 2018 · A few questions. The wikia article says the OPA has a split circle logo, which I assume is that gear looking thing. Is that correct? Secondly, where can I find a high quality version of the OPA logo on the uniforms in late season 3?

Oct 27, 2019 · Very nice work on all these. I did my own PuR & KLEEN logo during the first season run and put it on a shirt, then wore out the shirt. :) The Enheduanna patch has the bottom point cropped off and the Supa Star patch has a lot of both sides cropped. The OPA Behemoth logo isn't rendering correctly. I just get a thin black outline.

Mar 26, 2015 · The "collar" shape of the tattoo would lend itself to their expression of being enslaved to the inner planets, or their total devotion to the OPA. All conjecture on my part, mind you.

Feb 12, 2019 · Hi, I'm new here, so if I did something wrong with my post let me know. I saw an archived post about how the OPA logo was supposed to look in the books. Since I could not comment on it I just wanted to drop this here, didn't make it myself, found it somewhere, don't remember where tbh, but it's what I picture when I hear "split circle".
