I'm just beginning an attempt at a layout. Would be interested in On30 track and rolling stock. Kits are okay. Gondolas, boxcars, flatcars, and passenger cars. Let me know what you have, and perhaps we can make a deal.

ON30 is very appealing because it runs on HO track. This trumps all other considerations. It is very easy to get started in narrow gauge by buying standard HO track and switches. On30, as supplied by Bachmann and others, will not run on AC. You'll need to do as Barry suggested. Most On30 from Bachmann these days is DCC ready or has DCC onboard, and will also run just fine with most any DC power pack.

P51, The Atlas O Scale truss bridge is heavy-duty mainline, over kill for On30. You might consider the beautiful CV HO components and build your own. I did spot a photo on the web of an On30 Shay going through an HO truss bridge, so, depending on your locos, either the CV or Walthers bridges could also be possibilities.
