If you want to feel pain, the Telltale of a Recovering Melomaniac is an interesting take on a post-good end in that Sunny and Basil aren’t immediately forgiven. It may have my favorite depiction of a post-good end Hero in that he’s extremely pained but still tries to help Sunny as best as he can. For something happier, I recommend Deep Down We’re ...

Sep 6, 2021 · My all time favorite fic is “The Warmth of Summer” I feel like many post good ending Omori fics are unnecessarily angsty, and I feel like this one has the perfect level of wholesomeness while also not shying away from heavy topics and characters showing their emotional struggles, particularly their pain and anger towards Sunny and Basil.
