Sep 29, 2021 · I have a local account without password. I want my pc to boot directly to desktop and get rid of the need to click the 'sign in' button. I tried the 'netplwiz' and 'gpedit' thing. But it won't work. I just want to boot my pc directly to desktop.

The password is currently the guy's name that was working on my computer. Once you enter his name, the screen then goes to the Microsoft screen where you can click on your User/Guest to log on. Everything from that program has been removed to the best of my knowledge, however I'd like to OMIT this step of signing in with the STARTUP PASSWORD.
