Swains Island (/ ˈsweɪnz /; Tokelauan: Olohega [oloˈhɛŋa]; Samoan: Olosega [oloˈsɛŋa]) is a remote coral atoll in the Tokelau volcanic island group in the South Pacific Ocean.

Olohega is currently administered by the US through American Samoa. Since European contact, the history of Olohega involves greed, fraud, governmental incompetence and apathy, slave trading, worker exploitation and colonial arrogance.
