Oct 5, 2019 · I did a blotter test, comparing the old vintage Shulton stuff vs. modern cologne (all I have, apparrently Old Spice as a cologne was never as popular as aftershave), and it does seem like the AS is weaker, which is probably as it should be. I'm guessing it's 2/3 to 1/2 strength.

Oct 20, 2010 · Old Spice Aftershave goes on and lasts a while.....slowly depleting until not really noticeable. The Old Spice Cologne was an accidental discovery for me when I purchased a two pack containing two small bottles. One with the aftershave and one with the cologne. The cologne has a great smell that is not at all offensive and lasts all day.

Apr 9, 2008 · But, 30 years on; It stunk! I "assumed it was perhaps the aftershave and maybe the cologne smelled better. Not So. They both lacked the smooth spice scent that seemed to rise to a higher note before it settled on your smeller. The "Old, Old Spice seemed to be a melody of fragrance. That odor was now cheap and sharp and thankfully faded fast.

Feb 19, 2018 · The bottles are great. I have purchased a bunch of old Old Spice aftershave and cologne. I have never had one smell off or even different from each other, except for one, that I believe was refilled with new stuff.... I realize it’s not for everyone though.

Nov 16, 2016 · The longevity is much greater than Family Dollar Spice and it doesn't have the initial synthetic note of Old Spice Classic Cologne. It seems like 99Perfume and Fragrancenet are the only ones who carry this.
