Jun 19, 2013 · I have a Kindle that all of a sudden won't work. It gives me the empty battery screen however it won't charge will plugged in. I've tried two separate USB charge cords and have it plugged into the wall...yet it doesn't charge. I tried re-setting and I still get the empty battery image. Any ideas?

Nov 25, 2017 · Normal Kindle bought from Amazon a few months ago. Noticed the battery jumping around the past couple of days, now it's completely dead. Oct 9, 2015 · I have to repeatedly plug in my Kindle Paperwhite for it to actually charge. The orange light shows up indicating it is charging but the lightning bolt in the upper right corner doesn't come on and actually charge unless I plug and unplug it several times.

The LED indicator, orange or green, is no threat to your device or its working on the Kindle screen. It will light up every time you plug your power cord into your Amazon Kindle.
