Jan 20, 2017 · Information on which cap wrench fits which filters is surprisingly scarce. The 2TR-FE is best serviced using a cap wrench. There are other tools available to remove the filter from the end, but all damage the filter. A cap wrench does not and can thus be used to tighten the filter easily to a predetermined position without guessing.
