Jan 4, 2021 · Here you can download the source releases for OGRE. These releases require you to build OGRE yourself, but they also allow you to see precisely what’s going on and are therefore highly recommended for more experienced users.

Here you can download prebuilt samples/demos so you can take OGRE for a spin. You can also find a lot of other applications made with OGRE, many with freely downloadable demos, via the Showcase and the Showcase Forum.

Jun 29, 2024 · OGRE supports Windows (all major versions), Linux, OSX, Android, iOS, Javascript (via EMScripten), and WinRT. Also, OGRE was ported to PS3 and Xbox360 for several titles. Furthermore, OGRE comes with Bindings for Python, Java and C# out of the box to account for different coding needs.

Jan 18, 2007 · we have finally released Ogre 1.8 aka 'Byatis', so this is the new stable version from now on. The download links on the website have been updated; the front page is still missing an announcement, but that'll come shortly.

May 28, 2012 · We are glad to announce that we finally were able to release Ogre 1.8 (Byatis) which as of now is the new official, stable Ogre version. New SDK versions have already been uploaded and all download links are adjusted, so feel free to give it a whirl.

Sep 2, 2012 · The first maintenance release for the 1.8 stable branch (codenamed ‘Byatis’) is now available. You can find a list of all the bug fixes after the jump. There have been quite a few, so if you are having trouble with the previous release, check this one out. Maybe your problem has already been fixed. If not, let us know.
