Mar 1, 2021 · IMO Odachi is one of the easier weapons to use, and fists is one of the harder ones, so the difference in effectiveness may simply be experience. There's no reason they wouldn't be fine together.

Tatenashi set. Odachi's moves can be slow, so you need an armor that allows you to power through the enemy hits while you attack.

Aug 6, 2018 · Odachi has skills that let you combo from stance to stance. They're kinda slow but have a large AOE and use a lot of ki so tempering close combat ki reduction works well with it. Tigers blade, moonlit snow, imperitive strike, devastating rush are all good skill for odachi.

Jun 25, 2022 · Haven't played much with odachi yet but I'd be careful using the axe, it doesn't have many moves and you might find yourself spamming 1 or 2 attacks for every enemy, which makes combat somewhat boring and combat is what makes Nioh special.

Mar 31, 2020 · I've been looking at the sets I've been finding but I've yet to see anything that specifically benefits odachi by much. I'm running a high stance only build. Most of what I find are just general melee damage bonuses, is there anything else I just haven't seen yet?
