I know many Mosin owners out there thing modding their Mosin Nagants is blasphemy, but if done right I think it’s ok. Just like this “Obrez” (or cut-off in English” conversion. It features a PVC barrel shroud, scout scope rail and red dot, and a stock that can be re-attached.

The Mosin Obrez Pistol is a chopped down version of the Mosin-Nagant. Such conversions were common in WWI and especially in the Russian Civil War, when soldiers needed access to short-barreled weapons, and standard pistols were in short supply.
