Should be compatible with any UI mods that don't change textures and in theory should work forever unless Zenimax changes way ui works. Source code for a DLL that modifies Oblivion's UI engine. The mod is currently available for distribution on NexusMods.

Mar 12, 2014 · The only UI element I use in Oblivion is the compass in fact... with my Darnified settings it is very small, 100% transparent, and almost entirely unobtrusive yet practical. I wish Skyrim had something like that....

Oct 4, 2020 · "DarNified UI" keeps the vanilla Oblivion style and functions great. You can customize the UI yourself using "HUD Status Bars"

Jun 24, 2021 · SkyHUD has an option for an Oblivion style HUD. Imperial UI for SkyUI. I don't think it exists yet. There's a number of mods to add Oblivion-esque icons and fonts, but nothing to change the transparent menu boxes. Unless someone already did it and didn't tag it as a User Interface mod. Not likely, but it's a possibility.
