The FUG and PSZH were exported with limited success, thus it is also known under its Czechoslovak designation OT-65. Due to the similarities with the Soviet BRDM-1 armoured scout car, D-442 FUG is often misinterpreted as a BRDM-1 modification. Although the FUG has similar appearance to the BRDM-1, major differences reflect the independent design.
