Oct 30, 2013 · My RCF OBT as a sling was setup in an arboreal tank (500ml screwtop container) I provided 1/3 of the setup as substrate and placed a single false leaf in there for it to build around..... Its now around 2-2.5" and the setup is just web tunnels with a small amount of sub that its hollowed out.

Jan 29, 2015 · Be mindful. My little 3/4" OBT sling bolted right out of the deli cup once. I suggest making sure they have a little more room than other slings to build a hide or web one for themselves. Mine were essentially treating their deli cups AS their hides. So upon (like a true moron),opening ome of the lids all the way one time...

Feb 18, 2013 · Yip agree with jakykong and spiderengineer, OBT's are Nestorius for bad attitudes, though some can be nice and not threat pose or bite, but that can change over time, slings do prefer a little more humid environment, as they grow they become really hardy and like dry substrate, they will definitely make their home very soon after being placed, webbing and climbing all over till she/he has made ...

Jan 3, 2017 · P. murinus is one of the very few slings that thrive on bone dry substrate. Anything past 3i doesn't really need any supplemental humidity. I mist my OBT slings about once per week - not for humidity, but for drinking water. A single spritz on the webbing is all that's needed.

(almost a year ago now) Since then, on a feeding schedule of a food item roughly the same size as the spiderling every 10 days, kept at 75-80F in a small critter keeper roughly the size of my Galaxy Note 3. with a height of a red solo cup. Oct 29, 2021 · I received a 1” OBT Sling on 10/26 along with a couple other Slings I purchased. I saved the OBT Sling for last when I was transferring them into their new enclosures. I was transferring them on a table I built on the corner inside my garage. The OBT was pretty calm when I was nudging it into the enclosure with a brush.
