The NYLT logo is embroidered on the left-front side of the jacket; the logo is not course-specific. Jackets ordered by participants and staff members participating in an upcoming course (before the deadline) will pick up their jackets on the first day of the course.

The National Advanced Youth Leadership Experience (NAYLE, shown above) or National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT, shown below) emblems are considered "temporary insignia" by the BSA and ARE NOT JAMBOREE EMBLEMS -- therefore CAN NOT be worn in the location for Jamboree insignia (even if you're not going to a Jamboree).

National Youth Leadership Training is a week-long youth leadership training course for members of Scouts BSA and Venturing. Patch is worn on the right front pocket of the Scouts BSA or Venturing uniforms.

The National Youth Leadership Training Staff medallion is for Scouts who have participated in the NYLT program. The medallion is fashioned after the program logo which features a compass with the universal emblem as the needle.

What’s NYLT? National Youth Leadership Training is a week-long event held by the Blue Grass Council of the Boy Scouts of America. During an intensive week of training, Scouts and Venturers learn valuable leadership and communication skills as they work with a team of fellow participants.
