Oct 1, 2021 · The main benefit of an external looper (besides of e.g. longer record time) is the possibility to hook it in front or after the fx chain. One really good use of a looper is to use a loop while dialing in a tone. This isn't possible with the MG-30 looper and NUX already said that this may not come with the MG-30 but with the coming flagship product.

Nov 29, 2021 · The price difference is significantly bigger in Germany - MX-5 does cost more than 150 EUR more than the MG-30. This seems to be different from country to country. With the current Thomann deal the MG-30 is even 224 EUR cheaper!!! In regard of support: I found the support of NUX outstanding so far.

Nov 28, 2022 · I decided to give it a try and buy a Nux MG 30 to play at home and rehearse with the band. Now: I make the sounds at home listening through headphones and some of them are pretty good. Still, when rehearsing with the band and I connect the MG 30 straight to Mixer/PA via 1/4 output jack (in mono) have to say I am disappointed by the results.

Aug 24, 2021 · Just bought the MG-30 after being a loving MG-300 user. One HUGE issue I have found is that when creating a NEW preset, you have no choice but to create it over the top of an existing preset. there are no scratch blank presets to use. No problem there but it retains all the original pedal selections of the original patch.

It is essentially MG 30 for those who need to twiddle with the knobs live, which is me ) If I am not missing something it has all of the amps, most effects and CABs + pretty versatile connectivity. I do not see Boost level knob It is going to sound about the same as MG 30 or Amp Academy.
