The Kingaroy Peanut Silos located in Haly Street, Kingaroy are a group of three concrete silos (Nos 2, 3 and 4) that were constructed between 1938 and 1951 by the Queensland Peanut Marketing Board for storage of peanuts before their processing and marketing.

The silos are not exactly a tourist attrtaction but they are worthy of a visit as peanuts are what made Kingaroy and you will not see silos holdings peanuts of this size anywhere else. They hold between 4,000 and 5,000 tons of poeanuts which is a great deal of nuts.

The Kingaroy Peanut Silos are good for a quick photo stop. It's across the road from the Kingaroy Heritage Museum and Art Gallery. I recommend going to the Apex Park Lookout to get a picture of the town.
