Nov 30, 2019 · Seba Jun was a composer, best known as "Nujabes" (inverted name). He composed the best soundtracks for a very good anime called "Samurai Champloo". Within the anime-lofi community, he is seen as one of the best in the subject, as his songs have rare, if not, unique elements that create a beautiful experience.

im a casual listener and have only heard a couple albums from nujabes. I was listening to anime world again the other day randomly after a couple years and i was looking at the lyrics and i was like wtf. I saw “RIP nujabes” and did a double take. Cant believe thats how i found out.

I learned of Nujabes from Samurai Champloo (2009 ish) , probably like a lot of people here. And when I did, I think Peaceland from Metaphorical Music was the first song that got me TRIPPIN WILD. Like, actually thinking this guy was one of the god's in making music and beatmaking. That was a looooong time ago. I've been a fan ever since.

Nujabes was in the process of completing this album upon his death. Spiritual State was finished posthumously by those close to him, using instrumentals Nujabes had already produced. This album has a generally more heavy feeling to it, a lot of the songs use deep, lush pads, and have a lower-than-average BPM.

He told me he had asked around to Nujabes' brother and other people close to him who confirmed his theory. it was something he painted randomly. Though it seemed like nobody knew things about this.
