Jul 23, 2017 · Hello. About five days ago, in the middle of the afternoon, I suddenly had pain on the lower right side of my nose. if I didn't touch this area, the pain was about a 2 out of 10, but when I would press the outside of my nose at all the pain would increase to around a 6 out of 10.

Jul 23, 2017 · I, myself, have had some lower nose pain right on the edge of my nose on my left side. If touched it, it hurts. If I stretch my face it hurts. My pain goes away once I am on acyclovir for 5 days. Usually by the second day it begins to feels better. I have had shingles twice in my eye so I wonder if there is any correlation between the two.

Nov 27, 2020 · Hello, I had nasal surgery about 4-5 months ago to remove extra bone and cartilage so I could breathe properly, and understandably so my nose has been sensitive. However that was a few months ago and the surgery part has healed long ago. Now I find the cartilage at the front bit of my nose, the septum area right at the front, is in a lot of pain.

I have pain inside the right side of my nose and teeth but what is weird is some days it will be my entire nose and entire front teeth. It is constant pain and I have also been to ENT doctors, Neuro, multiple CT scans, MRI, had sinus surgery thinking it was sinus related, came to Mayo Clinic in February but still no relief.

Apr 16, 2020 · Thank you, Juli. I have been having somewhat similar symptoms and have similar problems. I was told I had mid segment pain and prescribed amitriptilline 10mg. But the problem isn't really pain it is pressure over the bridge of my nose and nose "sensitivity". Often my nose would feel very cold.

Aug 16, 2020 · I have a pain, like a sunburn or open sore, inside my right nostril at the cartilage just up from the tip. I only feel it when I touch a very specific spot. I've done a round of antibiotics pills and cream. They did nothing. I took a round of steroids and the pain went away until about 3-4 days after my round of steroids.

Jan 27, 2025 · No blood recently seen from right nostril, but larger globs of blood from left nostril when blowing nose. Attached pic shows left nasal secretions after blowing nose (first 2 images), and fresh PND (right image) within the last few days and this morning respectively. Wish I would have seen signs of healing by now.
