Noah is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. He is first encountered as a hospital ward at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, by Beth Greene, with whom he forms a good friendship.

Daryl finds Carol safe, Tyreese and Sasha reunite, Carl and Rick reunite with a presumed dead Judith. They lose Bob but kill Gareth, then Maggie finds out Beth is alive. Things are starting to look up, the reunited group goes into Atlanta to get Beth and Carol only to have Beth die right before Maggie can reunite with her.

Beth intervenes when Dawn demands Noah back, which leads to her being shot in the head by Dawn. Rick is clearly devastated by her death and is seen in tears looking down at Beth's lifeless body as it lay on the floor and when Daryl is carrying her body away from the hospital.
