Apr 9, 2012 · However, the manual for my G37 (S) 2009 says "add Genuine NISSAN PSF or equivalent". The cap on the reservoir says "ATF Dexron". So which one should I use? Also I assume if it's ATF then Dexron II and Dexron III are both ok. On Amazon I also found "Genuine Nissan Fluid 999MP-EPSF00P Electric Power Steering Fluid".

Jun 7, 2013 · Downloaded the FSM but wasn't sure on where to find the procedures for this. Does anyone know how to to do these 3 relearns without consult? -Pedal -Throttle Body -Idle I know it has to do with pressing the pedal X amount of times within X amount of seconds, etc. just don't know the exact procedures. I am taking the throttle body off to get a spacer made, so I will surely need to do these.

Apr 28, 2009 · Hard to diagnose from here and I don't know if these cars have a NATS system on them (immobilizer), but in the 4th Gen Maxima world (95-99), the NATS was a somewhat common issue. I had my NATS go bad and my key lost its ability to start the car. I was able to start it for a second using starting fluid, but that won't help you since you can't get it to crank. Nov 25, 2012 · Hi, I can't seem to locate the floor jack point to lift the front of the car. The whole bottom is covered with the plastic cover. Other than two indented side where you are supposed to put the factory jack, where else can I safely put a jack on to lift the car? Thank you.

Oct 22, 2011 · Is it safe to use a vacuum bleeder when changing the brake fluid on my 2010 Infiniti G37? I have used this tool, a Swiss made vacuum bleeder, on a lot of cars. But I once encountered a problem using it to bleed the brakes on my 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 Z-71 where it sucks air into the system, presumably past a seal between the brake fluid reservoir and the master cylinder. Dec 8, 2017 · What years of the G37 did Infinity use the piss-poor gaskets on the oil gallery plates? What is the expected life of the crappy gaskets and the expected life of the water pump? Mike

Oct 16, 2019 · Has anyone tackled repairing the oil galley gaskets and is there a kit available with everything needed? What else should be replaced while the engine is apart? Water pump , timing chains etc? Any advice would be appreciated. I’ve rebuilt a few Chevy 350s , built a 383 Stroker , I’m good with a wrench and I know the complexity of these engines. Dec 25, 2015 · Hi All, I have a 2014 Q60S, but it is the same thing as the G37 and I was wondering if anyone with either the G37 or Q60 has this issue. When I start my car after sitting for several hours on a cool day, their is a rattling sound that lasts for about 20 seconds, then the engine slows down slightly and the noise goes away.
