Mar 29, 2023 · idk my copy of nevermind is an OG german press. i used to have the simply vinyl which sounded nice but was smoothed over and a bit digital file sounding. the OG german sounds more like the original CD mastering. more raw and lively.

I will likely cancel my order, as it would be just as well to buy the Blu-Ray box set.

So, a lot of what we all love about "Nevermind" as a full-bodied, well-recorded hard rock album is what Kurt and Krist couldn't stand. They tended to put the blame on Andy Wallace, and not Butch Vig.

It's the first way I heard it-a friend made a copy &the intro guitar from Let's Dance smashing into the opening of Smells Like Teen Spirit sounds "more right" than any official version.

May 12, 2018 · Nirvana - Nevermind given the option (read: the disposable income), I'd recommend an original pressing over any of the reissues but based on what I've heard, if you can get the 320 cheaply enough, I'd take that over the ORG. if you give me a few minutes, I'll throw up a couple of brief excerpts of the ORG and 320 so you can judge for yourself.

I have noted these : - ORG 032 seems to be the best remastered version (if not the best of all) - Tom Port unknown version (for me) seems to be a really quick ass one also - Mofi's version seems to be full of details but a lack of punch, so not that good...
